Community Relations

I worked overseas for nearly a decade, often, the sole white lady in isolated tropical villages. I worked on education and job projects (namely, distance and eLearning, telework, and micro-entrepreneurship) and I LOVED my work. Then 2008 happened. My organization lost its funding and I switched gears from International Development to Humanitarian Aid. A couple tours of Haiti later (à la the 2010 earthquake and subsequent cholera epidemic), and I had a whopping case of PTSD and a slew of health problems.

Thus began my journey into natural healing and nutritional therapeutics. In an effort to heal myself, I went raw, gluten free, dairy free, momentarily vegan, largely vegetarian, and paleo. The outcome: the understanding that none of these are panaceas. We are complex organisms that are highly individualized — what your body needs will be very different than what your brother’s body needs which will be very different than what Frank in accounting needs. [Because everyone knows that Frank needs a lot of help.]

What does all of this mean for you? It means shortcuts and a ton less work. It means you don’t have to do 14 different elimination diets, try out hordes of nasty meal replacements, and breakout in ways that would embarrass the teenage you. It means you walk into heavily vetted solutions that have been proven to be best-in-market.

Aging begins at the cellular level and manifests all over our faces. Let’s stop it happening to yours. Reach out to learn just how simple looking and feeling better can be.
