Ashley is in deep gratitude to all of her teachers both in and out of the “classroom.” Hence why she named her community “The Grateful Yogi” because it is where healing and gratitude happens. She began dancing when she was 3 years old and has been studying yoga for over 17 years, Ashley has studied many lineages of yoga as well as other forms of eastern and western philosophies. It is Bhakti yoga, the yoga of the heart, which has spoken to her the loudest. “I feel being a student, and always being aware that I am indeed a student, even when I teach allows for oneness and union that embodies yoga and takes the experience way beyond a mat.” While Ashley’s class format is always different, you can expect that her classes will include elements of bhakti, yin & hatha, vinyasa, dance, meditation, pranayama, self-love, community-building exercises like kirtan and devotion, as well as gratitude. Her commitment, self-love and her own truth can be felt in each class she teaches. Come to Ashley’s class to let go of stress, have fun, be inspired, and dive into yourSelf!
